Barbie Meyer entitled one of her superb Herman Charles Bosman
compilation performances: "Wild & Fragrant'. It was a snippet from one
of Bosman's lines in a story, he was speaking of the moon and impossible love,
dreams and how this woman filled his universe.
I loved that and her performance of it. I was
working on this piece at the time and it's possibly the only one I've created
using a title not taken from my own poetry.
For me, it depicts equilibrium and the part we play in the greater universe, using all the senses as one does in Bosman's stories.
